ALL YOUR NEEDS
November 17, 2023And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
1. EVERYTHING IS INCLUDED. All is an amazing word in the English language. It includes everything and excludes nothing. When we call on the name of the Lord, we get to pivot and experience what is called a new birth. If any person receives Jesus, they become certifiably a brand-new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). Not only does God supply forgiveness because we’re sinners, He also makes us righteous so we are now drawn towards serving Him and away from the sinful things we used to do. He supplies wisdom when we lack it. He supplies courage when we’re weak. He supplies healing when we’re battling sickness – God supplies everything we need!
And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed. 2 Corinthians 9:8
2. GOD IS OUR SOURCE. Go outside, look up at the stars, and have a talk with God. Think about Him being your source. If you wake up in the middle of the night, spend some time with Him. It doesn’t have to be elaborate; it just has to be authentic. Realize that when you are talking to God, He is right there listening and desires to pour out a blessing that you cannot contain (Malachi 3:10). If you feel frustrated because your marriage isn’t what you wish, your kids are rearing up on you, your bills are overwhelming, or your job is not enjoyable – we’ve all had encounters in those areas and more – remember that at any and every point, God will supply all of our needs. We can face any challenge with faith and command those mountains to be removed in Jesus’ name.
Press on,
Pastor Jeff Perry
PRAY THIS PRAYER:
Father, I thank You that Your joy is my strength. God, Your Word is true. I believe it and embrace it fully. I know You are good, and Your mercy endures forever. You answer, supply, and meet every need. You are so faithful. God, thank You for that. I pray for breakthrough in my life, including all the small, medium, and large things I’m facing. I cast all my cares on You, God. I trust You to work each thing out, in Jesus’ name, amen. (Psalm 136:1; 1 Peter 5:7)
